Introduction: The consolidation behavior of horizontal drainage foundation under complex aquifer conditions in karst areas is a hot topic the field geotechnical engineering. Methods: This paper presents modified piecewise-linear model for plane-strain consolidation. In this model, distributed boundary was used to describe performance soil layer boundaries, and UH considering time effect selected reflect soil’s rheological property. Results discussion: Numerical studies show that phenomenon increase excess pore pressure exists after rheology early stage Moreover, larger secondary coefficient initial over-consolidation parameter, or smaller pave rate thickness-width ratio, above more obvious. terms dissipation water pressure, slower dissipation, ratio can achieve effects. impact on settlement, above-mentioned parameters are consistent, is, corresponding settlement value.
